Heard you on Darkness Radio via podcast and I am odering your book today. Thank you and your colleagues for sharing these personal and haunting experiences with everyone. I hope you will be putting out a second book and will be back on Darkness Radio or Coast to Coast to again give us a teaser on the new stories. Based on the reviews, of On Foot, in Amazon your book is hard to put down and those that purchase it read the entire book in one sitting. So hoping there is a second book as I am sure I will be zipping through your 1st book. 🙂

Served with you at Brownfield. USBI 313 I graduated Dec 1996. I know those dam mountains gave me some sleepless nights also. I’m still on the job but different agency. My star was B125. I love the stories, and I will read the book. I will always remember something heavy and big breaking brush near dead cow!

God Bless

Mr. Elmore,
I came across an archived radio talk show, and listened to your interview and stories about yours and your colleague experiences on the many swaths of US territories. It was absolutely interesting, entertaining and fascinating. Following this, I pursued acquisitioning a copy of your book. Personally, I thought I was going to be enveloped with the paranormal, combined with 20 years of a professional in an elite and dangerous field. What I got was an education. I learned more about the job and life of a Border Patrol agent. More importantly, I was educated and reminded that the Border Patrol agents are the silent, and ironic, “Ghost”, division that is securing the border for the safety of US and Alien nationals on both side of the border. When you described the in human crimes committed against people in general, I believe more people would understand that the Border Patrol risks life and limb to protect people, in general, against the crimes being committed against humanity. However that being said, our politicians, media and the general public really don’t want to know what happens there. I want to personally say, “Thank You”, for your service. I think combining the job of an agent along with the experiences of the ethereal was clever and put a twist to things, but ultimately I gathered you were sharing what the border really represented in the past and now. A stretch of desolation of such depravity, no wonder it leads towards the paranormal, or events that have no logical explanations.

Rocky lays out in gritty detail the life of a Border Patrol Agent working on foot, in some of the most remote and dangerous landscape on the border. With the current state of politics and debate surrounding the border this book will undoubtedly add serious context to the discussion.

Hi Rocky,
Haven’t read Out on Foot yet but I’m looking forward to it.
After hearing your story on Halloween I fell in love with it and your voice!
Would you consider laying it out in audio format? Really scary in a fun way.
Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!

Listened to one of your interviews. We both know along with lot of LE, you can’t make it up. Always enjoy the “tough guys/ladies” who scoff, but won’t walk the walk.
